Roses
Can anyone remember love? It's like trying to summon up the smell of roses in a cellar. You might see a rose, but never the perfume.

Shadow & Light
Take me as you will
Under no illusions
I offer myself whole
I give into you and I
Offer you the sky
The sun and moon and seas
But you need to know that I
Not more or less than me
Here is where I stand
Here is who I am

Joy
I wonder if you know that the idea of being raped comes, etymologically, from a sense of being under the influence of spiritual ecstasy. To be enraptured is to be carried away by this same kind of violence. This same kind of ecstasy. Some call is spiritual, others – prophetic. Perhaps, this is the most perfect kind of violence. The kind of violence you find Joy in.

Bloody Roses
“Love is much like a wild rose, beautiful and calm, but willing to draw blood in its defense.”
